
Exploring local donations in our community led to this project which started at age 5 and developed as a monthly project through high school graduation.
Charlotte’s Circle, as it came to be called, was a gradual unfoldment, one step at a time in our lives – like many service projects – rather than a preconceived design. Watching Charlotte and her friends become inspired to enter the adult world and make a difference that was important led to the realization that young children are capable, with the support of teachers and parents, of not only significant contribution, but widespread outcomes if we simply connected the dots.
